AdvanceWare/TheKitchenPond’s Quick Order Entry software and our catalog can be downloaded from www.thekitchenpond.com/customers/pennville/support.htm
You will be asked to sign in, please use the following username and password.
username: tkppennville
password: dealer
There are 3 files you will need to download for the initial install.
1. SetupQOE.exe - Quick Order Entry (QOE).
2. CR11.msi - This is the report writer that will allow you to "print" an order form. This only gets installed one time.
3. PV-Cat.exe - Pennville Catalog
After you have saved these files to your PC, run the SetupQOE.exe file first. This will install the Quick Order Entry software and the Crystal Reports runtime (CR11.msi).
Then run the PV-Cat.exe file. This will load the Pennville catalog into Quick Order Entry.
After the initial install of QOE and the Pennville catalog, you can check for updates for both from within the program itself. You simply open the program, go to HELP in the upper left corner and click CHECK FOR UPDATE. I would recommend doing this often initially because, as you are finding things and are submitting your feedback to us, we will be tweaking the catalog and posting updates to the Internet that are easily installed through CHECK FOR UPDATE. CHECK FOR UPDATE ensures you have the latest and greatest program version and catalog. If you have not checked for an update in the last 30 days, the program will prompt you to do so upon opening.
The Quick Order Entry license covers an unlimited number of installations, so feel free to load it on as many computers as you like. However, each computer will require its own unique activation code. The instructions for emailing or faxing the request to TheKitchenPond to get an activation code are in the TRAINING MANUAL which is also available on this same website. Click VIEW DOCUMENTATION which will take you to a .pdf document that you can easily save to My Documents or print to paper. We recommend that each showroom have at least one printed copy.
